Dear Friends
Good morning
How about a little frivolity?
Ode to a Goldfish
Oh
Wet
Pet!
Gyles Brandreth
Or how about:
A flea and a fly in a flue
Were imprisoned, so what could they do?
Said the fly, ‘let us flee!’
‘Let us fly!’ said the flea.
So they flew through a flaw in the flue.
Ogden Nash
Or how about:
The Lover Writes a One-Word Poem
You!
Gavin Ewart
I think that nothing can express the love of God for each one of better than that simple ‘You’. We are God’s eternal ‘you’ - God can never stop loving us - we are always God’s ‘You’. And our lives are spent reaching for the eternal YOU which is that love for us: the YOU which would always be beyond us were it not for that love made flesh - the YOU which is always beyond us is always at the heart of us.
St Joseph, pray for us
Every blessing
