A message from Fr John

Dear Friends

Good morning
November draws on and we are getting close to our Novena for the Holy Souls - which starts tomorrow.
I thought the Song of Simeon at the Presentation might be a gentle reminder of a grace-filled departure.
Lord, let your servant
Now go in peace,
For you kept your promise.
With my own eyes
I see the salvation
You prepared for all peoples:
A light of revelation for the Gentiles
And glory to your people Israel.
We pray for all those who have died and for those who are slowly making their way to heaven. We pray for all the doctors, nurses, carers and family members who are accompanying them on their last journey; Lord, give them strength and courage.
St Joseph, patron of a happy death, pray for us
Every blessing
Fr John
