A message from Fr John

Dear Friends
Good morning - I hope you’re managing to stay warm
Today is the First Sunday of Advent - the beginning of a wonderful time for thinking, for praying and, in the midst of that, for reflecting on what really matters to us: the important things like family, friends and faith. The faith that tells us that we are important to God; so important that he sends his Son to be one with us, now and always.
I have attached a couple of pages from Pastoral Renewal Exchange with a few thoughts to stimulate our prayer and reflection; some are more witty, some more wise - I especially like the one from Pope Benedict at the bottom of page 2 - but all of them helping us to see the presence of God across the whole of our lives. I hope you enjoy them.
St Joseph, pray for us
Every blessing
Fr John
