Dear Friends
Apologies for the delay in today’s letter - family matters obviously took up the morning.
Thank you for all your lovely messages of support and prayer - they mean so much to me and the family. We all know that it is faith and the loving kindness of others that enables us to get through these days of sadness.
I know that Maureen has sent out the prayer in the time of virus which is very helpful. Here’s a prayer for carers:
‘Wondrous God, author of life, you fashioned us in your likeness and breathed into us the life which is your own.
Be with those whose special care is the health of mind and body. Fill their hearts with awe for the life which is your gift and sustain them daily in your service, that their hands may bring to others the comfort of your healing touch.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen’
Mass tomorrow: 11.00am
Rosary and benediction: 3.00pm
I have received a few names of our front line workers. Please pray for them all:
Joseph, Lisa, Patrick, Chris, Catherine, Anne, Terry, Mark, Theo, Clare, Richard, Anthony, Jane
Please let myself or Maureen know of any special needs - especially the elderly or vulnerable
Dear St Joseph, pray for us
Blessings
Fr John
