Dear Friends
Good morning - I hope you’re keeping well. Please keep up your prayers for our doctors, nurses, carers teachers and all those on the ‘frontline’ in any way.
A couple more prayers today:
A familiar and traditional invocation of Our Lady
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known
that anyone who fled to you for protection,
implored your help, or sought your intercession
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To you I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in your mercy, hear and answer me.
Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us
Prayer of St Ignatius
Take, Lord, and receive all my liberty,
my memory, my understanding,
and my entire will,
all I have and call my own.
You have given it all to me.
To you, Lord, I return it.
Everything is yours; do with it what you will.
Give me only your love and your grace,
that is enough for me.
Please pray for Timothy Willemsen whose funeral we will celebrate today
St Joseph, friend and protector of the poor, pray for us
Every blessing
Fr John
