A message from Fr John

Dear Friends

Good morning - I hope you’re well

We’ll be sending Bishop John’s Pastoral Letter later but in the meantime how about a couple of clerihew’s by WH Auden, apparently he used to compose them in bed when he couldn’t sleep :

Lord Byron
Once succumbed to a Siren:
His flesh was weak,
Hers Greek.

And

Sir Henry Rider Haggard
Was completely staggered
When his bride-to-be
Announced, 'I am She!’

Don’t worry; the Bishop’s letter is much more sensible.

St Joseph, patron of family life, pray for us

Every blessing

Fr John
