A message from Fr John

Dear Friends

Good morning
Well, I managed my first attempts at 10,000 steps. St Mary’s cemetery is so quiet first thing in the morning - only the hum of traffic from the motorway and the East Lancs. I must begin to try to identify the assorted bird songs.

A number of people have already said they are prepared to sponsor me and so … Thank you in anticipation.
Cheques please payable to either Cafod of the Alzheimer’s Society - I’m advised that’s the best way of doing it. You can put them through the presbytery door.

As you know, we have a Parish Forum meeting this evening facilitated by John Griffin of the Diocesan Development team. He has prepared a little preparation paper for it which will help to inform our discussion. Everyone is welcome.

St Joseph, friend and companion on our journey, pray for us

Every blessing

Fr John
