A message from Fr John

Dear Friends

Good morning - at last it’s warming up and gradually getting lighter.

Remember - all Sundays, even those in Lent, are a sharing in the joy of Easter. So you can relax your fasting just a little today.

The Diocesan Formation team have put together some wonderful resources for Lent in Lockdown. There is a lot of material and so, rather than me ‘picking and choosing’, I have included the whole of the document for you do that. However, I would especially recommend you look at the pages on caring for the environment during Lent. Salford is the lead diocese for Laudato Si - we can all do our bit. As time goes on, I might highlight particular aspects of the resources but I would prefer you to share them with others at home, work and school.

St Joseph, friend of the poor, pray for us

Every blessing

Fr John
