A message from Fr John

Dear Friends

Good morning

Now for something completely different - a little cheer for a Monday morning: some Morecambe and wise jokes….

"My neighbour asked if he could use my lawnmower and I told him of course he could, so long as he didn't take it out of my garden.”

"I used to play football in my youth. Then my eyes went bad. That's why I became a referee”

"I always take my wife morning tea in my pajamas, but is she grateful? . . . No, she says she'd rather have it in a cup”

I think Jesus must have had a good sense of humour to have put up with some of the antics of the Apostles. It helps us too as we plod though some of the ups and downs of life.

St Joseph, pray for us

Every blessing

Fr John
