Dear Friends
Apologies - someone sent some recommended reading and I accidentally deleted it.
More wisdom from the Desert Fathers:
A certain brother inquired of Abbot Pastor, saying,
‘What shall I do? I lose my nerve when I am sitting alone at Prayer.’
The Abbot said to him:
‘Despise no one, condemn no one, rebuke no one, God will give you peace and your prayer will be undisturbed.'
Om the other hand, I was just wondering ….
Do you think we might meet for a Poetry Evening - just a thought!
Maybe this Monday evening at 7.00pm - and maybe each participant could read a favourite poem - and maybe a poem about nature. What do you think?
I’ll open Zoom at 6.55pm and lock it at 7.02pm - no set time to finish but no more than an hour
Let us pray for those who are sick:
Evelyn, Adela, Winnie, Sylvia, Joe, Susan, Irene and Audrey
And for those who have died:

St Joseph, guardian of this parish during these time, pray for us
Every blessing
