A message from Fr John

Dear Friends
Good morning
A very happy Fathers’ Day to everyone; to fathers, grandfathers, great grandfathers, fathers-to-be and to all of us who were blessed to have such wonderful dads. It’s a day for remembering, for giving thanks to them and to the Father in heaven for sharing His generosity, warmth, strength and patience through them.
It’s seven years since my father went to heaven; he was ready to go. I’m not sure that we were ready to let him go but then how could we be. And we still miss him.
Our families are a real treasure, a gift from God and, like all gifts, never to be taken for granted.
Let’s also remember our parish family, especially those who are part of the frontline, essential workers of all kinds:
Joseph, Lisa, Patrick, Chris, Catherine, Anne, Terry, Mark, Theo, Clare, Richard, Anthony, Jane, James, Andrew, Mary, Francis, Ruth, Tony, Sue, Dan, Fiona, Katy. Ian & Bethany - and all our teachers
St Joseph, pray for us
Every blessing
Fr John
