A musical evening at St Edmund’s

Posted on: 26/11/2018

A splendid musical evening took place on Friday 23rd November in the Rigby Room at St Edmund’s church. The main entertainment was provided by singer songwriters Sheedy Frost (Paul Frost and Vincent Sheedy), ably supported by Helen Hall on trumpet, guitarist Steve Robinson, percussionist Tony Walsh and Irish fiddle player Peter Morgan.

Some forty or so guests enjoyed a variety of musical entertainment with a mix of contemporary, original folk with a collection of classic songs and Sheedy Frost played music from their own album.

The evening was a great success and a real show of unity in our new parish of Holy Trinity Worsley and we look forward to similar events in the future.
