The bishop is encouraging us to play our part as individuals, families, parish and diocese in putting into practice Pope Francis' document Laudato Si. Download the 'Care for our common home' document to find a wide range of suggestions as to how we might make it happen and maybe incorporate it into your Lenten prayer and discipline.
One suggestion is that our young people might take some initiatives for a pro-active approach. The older generations must be very aware of their responsibility to hand over a world which is worthy of the children of God.
Might we possibly think about setting up an 'ecology group' in the parish that could help us all to focus more sharply on caring for all our God-given gifts and sharing them more justly.

Our season of preparation for the great feast begins this week. We shall resume our time for quiet prayer each weekday morning from 6.00 – 7.00am at Christ the King beginning this Monday.
