Retreats

Posted on: 13/01/2024

We all need 'time out' to think and pray, to reassess our relationship with God, others and the world around us.
And so ….

The Benedictine monks at Ampleforth Abbey have begun a series of retreats which look at our journey in faith in
interesting new ways. There are posters at the back of church but more details can be found on their website:
ampleforthabbey.org.uk

The Bernardine Cistercian sisters at Hyning Hall, near Carnforth also offer accommodation and retreats for those
seeking quiet time and space. ENQUIRIES may be made in writing to the Bookings Secretary (please send an
SAE), by e-mail to hyningbookings@yahoo.co.uk or by phone 01524 732684
